ah, we all make promises to those we really care about, and then throw them away in a moment of negligence. Its human nature, and something we sometimes cant control. What matters is to accept your mistake with integrity, and although it will be difficult; try to change for the better. I certainly know i myself have plenty of faults, and sometimes i just cant promise myself to change even after mistakes made, but i try, and i acknowledge myself, and i tell myself its a matter of mind over matter, and it works most of the time XD.

I cant say im an extremely good person or a saint, but neither can any of us. What matters is that you realize that while it may be impossible to change who you truly are, its important to change what you feel can be changed for the sake of yourself and the sake of others you truly care about. In the end, you must ask can you look at yourself and your close ones with pride and integrity? Alright? Don't be too hard on yourself.
